(2001) : symphonic wind ensemble and two amplified pianos

Written during my first year in the USA, this piece is a result of
my short conducting experience with a typical American symphonic wind ensemble, or simply - a college band.
You can only imagine what that sounded like to my *delicate European ears*.
Writting a piece for a band was simply my first step in getting rid of a residue of the Krakow school of music composition.
The piece is repetitive, somehow minimalistic and certainly deprived of all those timbral subtleties
that seemed to be essential to my earlier work. Frankly, it is primitive, vulgar and loud.
