Before the invention of airplanes, travel was a much more physical experience.
Travelers were constantly aware of their progress because there was a much stronger
physical connection to the spaces being traveled towards.
Travel was longer and more arduous experience dictated by time, space and elements.
Nowadays our ability to travel at a higher velocity disconnects, and in a sense disembodies
us from physical space and places us in a limbo caught between where we are
from and where we are going...
